Teach a Workshop!

We offer flexible options for Workshop Hosts.
All that is required is an idea, a passion, or a skill that you want to share with others! 

You can choose:
WHAT you teach - WHO you teach - WHEN you teach - HOW OFTEN you teach!

How the Schedule Works:

• There are 4 Sessions - 2 in the morning, 2 after lunch! 

• Each session is 90 minutes long.

• You can combine sessions if you need more than one session for your workshop:

  • 1 Session - 90 minutes

  • 2 Sessions - 180 minutes

  • 4 Sessions - All Day - 6 hours!

• You can pick WHICH Session times you teach! 

• You can teach during ONE - TWO - THREE - or FOUR Sessions

• You can teach the SAME THING more than once or something NEW each time! 

Workshop Participants Age Ranges: 

• Daisies (K/1)

• Brownies (2/3)

• Juniors (4/5)

• Cadettes (6/7/8)

• Seniors (9/10)

• Ambassadors (11/12)

• Adult Volunteers

Supply Fees:

• When you are using extra supplies that a Girl Scout is taking home (such as a cake for cake decorating), an additional fee can be charged. 

Workshop Host Qualifications

• We welcome any Community Member, GSWW Adult Volunteer, Older Girl Scout to teach a workshop!

• You DO NOT need to be a Council Facilitator to teach a workshop!

• Workshop Hosts do not need to be Registered and Background Checked Girl Scouts.
  (Although, we think everyone should be part of this awesome movement!)

1) Yay! Thank you!

2) Please fill out the G.I.R.L. Workshop Host Form (embedded below) with all of your needs and preferences. 

3) Our team will connect with you to let you know that we got it! 

4) Once we've collected all of the Workshop Host Forms, we'll open registration. 

5) About 1.5-2 weeks before the G.I.R.L. Conference, we'll close registration and send you a class list.
See the specific registration deadline on the front of our event page. The class list will come a day or two later! 

6) At that point, you can go ahead and order supplies needed and make final plans for your workshop. 

7) If you need copies made, it is possible that we can make them with GSWW. 

8) If you charged a supply fee, request a reimbursement form from Skup. Be sure to attach your receipts!

> Alternatively, you can claim your expenses as a gift-in-kind. Please ask Skup for that form, too!
