Thank you for supporting Girl Scouts!!

Every Girl Scout goes above and beyond to make a difference in her community and the greater world. The skills and experiences she gains along the way set her up for special recognition through the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards.

All three awards give girls the chance to do big things while supporting issues they care about. Check out the GSWW website for more information on pursing one of the Highest Awards.

Northern Wave is gathering Girl Scouts from the North Region to lay wreaths on veteran graves at Hawthorne Funeral Home and Mount Vernon Cemetery in Mount Vernon, WA on Saturday, December 17th at 10am. Please select which location your scout would like to volunteer at and complete all the required fields. If you have any questions, please email northernwavegsww@gmail.com.

There is no fee to participate in this event, but if you would like to purchase a patch for your scout, patches will be $4.00 (plus shipping fees if needed) unless we end up with more than 100 participants, in which case the price will be lowered.

The goal is not to “decorate graves.” We are doing this to remember not their deaths, but their lives. Each wreath is a gift of appreciation from a grateful America. The live balsam fir wreaths we will be laying symbolize our honor to those who have served and are serving in the armed forces of our great nation and to their families who endure sacrifices every day on our behalf. For more information about the Wreaths Across America program, please visit their website at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org.

Juliette Gordon Low Tea Party
October 27th @ 6:30-7:30pm

"I've got something for the girls of Savannah, and all of America, and all the world, and we're going to start it tonight!"

Juliette Gordon Low was no wallflower. She may have worn fancy dresses and loved tea parties, but she also pushed boundaries, stood her ground, had a great sense of humor and playfulness and dedicated her life to making sure all girls were able to do all of the things!

Join Girl Scouts in the North Region as we learn from Christie Crahan, dressed up as Juliette Gordon Low to celebrate our founder's 160th Birthday! This dynamic, entertaining, and educational event helps Girl Scouts be moved by learning where we came from and inspired by where we are going.

The registration fee included the patch as well as a donation to Our Cabaña. Thanks to over 140 attendees from more than 30 states, we were able to donate $650 to our friends at The World Foundation for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts!
